1962

Due to such incidents during the Cold War (the most recent being the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis), Hourman,  Hawkman, Wildcat, Starman and Dr. Mid-Nite join together to form the Justice Society of America
1968 After helping them out on several occasions, the Green Arrow is invited to join the Justice Society of America
1975 A new heroine appears on the scene, the Black Canary makes an impact; Later that year she is invited to join the JSA
Lex Luthor is born
1978 Clark Kent is adopted by John and Martha Kent
A meteor shower rains down radioactive green rocks on farmland in and around Kansas; Several people are afflicted with radiation poisoning from exposure to the meteor rocks
Bruce Wayne is born in Gotham City.
1980 Diana Drake marries Larry Lance. Later that year, she decides that she wants to live a normal life, and hangs up her fishnets, retiring from the JSA and ending her career as Black Canary I
1982 Harold "Hal" Jordan receives a Green Lantern ring from a dying Abin-Sir. After proving himself, the Guardians find him and train him to become the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 (Earth)
1984 The Justice Society decides to disband after the team is splintered due to in-fighting based on how they believe to handle the escalating situation in Afganistan.
1985 Bruce Wayne's parents are gunned down right in front of him, following this incident, he leaves the country
1994 LuthorCorp buys a manure plant in Smallville
Lex Luthor takes over operations there
Clark Kent and Lex Luthor first meeting
1995 After months of planning, Lex Luthor finally decides to step out of his dad's shadow and form LexCorp
1997 A young man finds an abandoned Green Lantern ring, he gives it to his girlfriend.
1998 The girl later finds out that he gave it to her to make up for his cheating ways, and promptly pawns it. It sits in a pawn shop in New York City for years...
John Stewart is dishonorably discharged from the military.
2000 Millionaire Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City, apparently during his time away, he was beginning to build a technology company named WayneTech; Rumors of a Bat-man surface in Gotham
Clark Kent gets a job at the Daily Planet, where he is teamed by Pulitzer Prize winning reporter, Lois Lane
A man dubbed Superman by Lois Lane makes his presence felt when he saves Metropolis from an attack by terrorists in rogue helicopters
John Stewart receives his power ring, is trained to be Green Lantern by Sinestro, one of the greatest Green Lanterns ever
Months after Batman's alleged appearances, a man named the Joker shows up in Gotham City. He begins an unorthodox crime spree characterized the clown related tricks. The Gotham City Police Department, as well as Batman have a hard time trying to track him down, due to his erratic movements.
2001 Wonder Woman appears in NYC
Lex Luthor returns to Metropolis, taking back his place as C.E.O. of LexCorp
In Central  City, a masked man calling himself the Flash begins to patrol, apprehending and stopping crime before people can even commit it.
2002 The Urban myths of crocodiles being in the sewers of Gotham are proved to be true, when a massive crocodile, referred to as the Killer Croc rampages in Gotham.  He is apprehended by GCPD and Batman, and is sent to Arkham Penitentiary
After years of turning around crime in Metropolis, metahumans begin to come to Metropolis to test Superman. Among them is Maxima who causes mass property damage using the Daily Planet globe
A series of meteorological disturbances are observed in the Midwest.  It is later found that disgruntled Cadmus Labs scientist Mark Mardon acting under the moniker Weather Wizard.
2003 The purple fin-headed destroyer of worlds, Despero, shows up in New York City and decimates the United Nations building
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, and The Atom team up to defeat Despero. They are dubbed the Justice League as a nod to the Justice Society
Kyle Rayner finds a Green Lantern ring in a pawn shop during a meta-human battle between The Justice League (The Flash and The Atom) and armored pyromaniac, Firefly
Later that year, the Justice League builds their Satellite Base which sits in orbit around the Earth so that they can better monitor goings on around the globe.
2004 Lex Luthor decides to create his own super group, named the Teen Titans. Luthor circulates ads in papers all over the country, asking people to try out. The auditions and judging will be aired on TV, and viewers will vote on some of the team members, a la American Idol. Lex receives criticism, people view this as a means of garnering attention to his business; He reveals the first member as Superboy, who may or may not be related to Superman.
